idk, I once was willing to let a friendship die when someone started going on an on about how some series "betrayed" them because of a single bad entry.

I mean other things contributed, obviously, but I realized I didn't want to be around people who had nothing better to do than negatively criticize and bash things. It really is exhausting, and on some level insulting. It's like, yeah, thanks, my tastes are unforgivably shitty, thanks. (yes, yes, I'm aware everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It's still exhausting to hear over and over how much something you love sucks ass)
