Hope you find what you're looking for.

There are a few characters with Australian accents in Finding Nemo, though not as many as you'd think.

There's an Australian animated TV series about a koala called The Adventures of Blinky Bill, based on books about Blinky Bill.

Kiwi (New Zealander) accents are also quite nice.

OP

Oh, I watched Blinky Bill as a kid, but dubbed rather than in English. Hah, I might just take another look at it now :D Thanks for the reminder of its existence!

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has a lot of authentic Australian accents.

You can cure yourself of this ailment by watching Housos.

Seriously? I guess just about anything has someone who finds it sexy.

The Easter Bunny us Australian in that? Seems like an odd choice since aren't rabbits invasive in Australia?

(Anonymous) 2019-04-18 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Very invasive. Cute little bastards.

Technically he's a pooka in the movie. He's about as tall as North.

There aren't a lot of Aussie cartoons unfortunately, we have more British and American ones shown on tv. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is 'Li'l Elvis and the Truckstoppers'. I'm sure there are more, but they'd probably be for younger children.

'Voltron: Legendary Defender' has a character voiced by a New Zealander (though from memory he sounds more Australian), the advisor Coran.

Coran doesn't sound Australian to me at all. NZ all the way.

It's been a while since I saw it, so I'm obviously remembering wrong then!

if you can stretch that to include New Zealand accents you've got a whole army hundreds of thousands of clones in the Clone Wars/Attack of the Clones to crush on lmao

You might wanna take a gander at Masterchef Australia :D

The best new Australian cartoon at the moment is called Bluey. It's about a family of dogs and its the most realistic and true to life picture of Australian life in memory. Plenty of awesome characters and sweet accents.

Ooh, will most definitely check that one out! Thank you :D

Very late but there was a cartoon adaptation of The Silver Brumby books back in the 90s, not sure how easy it would be to find these days but it's got plenty of Aussie accents!
