It didn't really show much so I don't really have an opinion.

My one thought was: Doesn't Rey look like she's lost a lot of weight?

She does! Pretty sure she gained a fair amount for TLJ (some of which was undoubtedly muscle, but definitely some fat too), but it looks like she's back down to her TFA weight in the third film - maybe even lighter.

I kinda wish she had pulled an Alicia Vikander and gotten hella ripped for the last film. But in a world where force powers exist, I concede that physical strength is a very secondary concern, so it doesn't overly matter one way or the other.

She might have lost a little, but I think she looks different because of the angle of this shot and her hair being down in the latter half of TLJ. Her face doesn't appear as angular in the shot before this one.

They asked Carrie Fisher to lose weight, I wouldn't be surprised if it's SOP for all their actors.
