How did you get them?

Fell down while out for a run and knocked myself out on pavement, now have fabulous Harry Potter-ish scar on forehead.

Did someone help you up or did people just walk around you? My god.

Was thankfully helped and carried to safety before being transported to a hospital for stitches.

Just a few old ones from self-injury. Plus one on my forehead from when I was an infant and had chicken pox.

circular white scar on the sole of my right foot from falling on a speaker nail. (it was meant to screw the 5 feet speakers into the carpet? But hadn't been put in idk)

scar on left shin from ....going arse over tit at some point in my childhood.

Some tiny white circular scars on my abdomen from insulin pump sites. They probably look like weird freckles.

acne and bacne scars across my shoulders, breasts and back.

A burn scar on my right hand from the top of my wrist touching the oven ...ledge? The silver ray parts you can pull out and rearrange but always stay in the oven.

Then just an assortment of little scratches and nibbles from pets over the years over my hands and arms :)

That is...more than I thought. Ew.

Eleven year old me told my dad “helmets are stupid” before riding mountain bike down very steep dirt road, swerved to avoid friend’s dog, woke up with dad’s bloody shirt wrapped around my bleeding skull, had an enormous black eye, gravel under the skin on my arms and palms, and a bloody hole in my forehead that needed stitching. Still have a dent in my right eyebrow.

Brought home new dog from animal shelter, broke up fight between new dog and old dog. Both dogs are long gone, but I have a scar on one middle finger to remember new dog by.

Was born super early, have a couple marks on my feet from tubing that kept me alive and I think the port thingy they used for blood draws.

I guess I have a bunch from self-harm. Cutting has been kind of an anxiety and depression-reliever for me. It was bad when I was a teen, but now I usually manage it pretty well, but on occasion I still go back to it when I need the "high" if that makes sense. Sounds silly to type it out, and I know it's silly. Anyway, that's most of my scars.

Scar on my elbow where I fell down the cement steps at the front of one of the houses we lived in in the Philippines.

Big scar on my forhead. The week of my high school graduation. We had a party. I was in a dress that was too long. Took off my heels when I got home. Tripped on the steps in our house and rammed my glasses into my face. 30 stitches.

I've got a bunch, but most of them aren't noticeable.
A small pock mark above my eyebrow from chicken poxs.
Tiny one above my upper lip from where my dog bit me
A fairly bad burn where my thumb connects to my wrist from an unfortunate cooking accident.
One of the worst of the scars on my hand/fingers are from when I was passing a giant garbage pail full of mud/rotten plant clippings over our back gate to my mother. It didn't have a lid so while I was strong arming it over all the gunk stated to fall out, so my stupid ass brain thought it was a good idea to let go of one of the handles to keep it all from pouring out on me. Basically I was very lucky not to impale my hand on the metal gate, and that my mom was nearby to lift the thing off the finials because my hand was pinned there...
I have dozens others on my hands/arms from when I worked as a metal fabricator, and dozen others from I have no idea from where.
I skinned my knee very badly once, that one's pretty bad.
And a burn on my big toe from one of those freezing treatments from my dermatologist.

Lots of them but the two most obvious ones are on my stomach from surgery. I had my tubes tied, my appendix out, an ovary removed because there was a tumor (non-cancerous, thank fuck) the size of a melon on it and a hysterectomy. I also have some on my back due to a skin infection I had several years ago.

Pockmark on my left shoulder, vaccination scar. Crescent moon shaped scar on my chin from when I went arse over teakettle as a kid and rammed the handlebar of my bike into my face. Short scar on the back of my hand from our rescue dog. A scar on my bottom lip from something that happened when I was a baby. A thin scar on my forearm from god-knows-what, but I've had it since I was a kid so I'm guessing climbing misadventure.

Pretty big circular burn scar above my right ankle because I managed to climb off the wrong side of my dad's motorcycle when I was a kid and got a second degree burn from touching the exhaust pipe.

Tips of the middle and ring finger of my left hand because I was trying out a new knife sharpening gadget my mother bought and slipped and sliced open my fingers. Was a ridiculously annoying place to cut yourself because it took ages to heal.

I generally scar super easily on my arms so every scratched-open mosquito bite leaves a scar. Yay.

I have quite a few smaller burn scars on my hands because I loved to play with fire when I was younger and only learnt after burning myself several times. The worst is a small circular one on my thumb where I accidentally dripped burning plastic.

Kidney surgery, gall bladder surgery, box-cutter accident at work.
