What is everyone doing this (Easter) weekend?

I am watching my nephew tonight. Tomorrow, we are having our Easter dinner so that my sister can do Sunday at her inlaws. Sunday, I will hopefully be able to just sleep.

Tomorrow I clean my room, do laundry, and pack. Sunday I fly to Mexico. Watching some Call the Midwife inbetween.

How long are you staying in Mexico?

Working at work. Then working at a non-work project that still kinda counts as work because it's collaborative so I have a deadline, even if I chose to do it. Also, working on something a little more short-term. And if I'm responsible (ha), working on other things like cleaning...

That is a busy weekend! I hope you get some time to relax in all of that!

I’m leveling a lancer in FFXIV, and Easter brunch somewhere in there.

Have fun! Are you going our at a restaurant for brunch or someone's house?

Probably going to dust the bookshelves and read a motivational self-help book. Also enjoy my remaining time alone until my parents return from vacation.

Plotting for day-after Easter sales! There's a super cute stuffed rabbit that I really want at a local store but can't justify buying unless it gets a lot cheaper.

I hope it gets a lot cheaper then!

Right now I'm at my parents', was supposed to be just for lunch/hangout time tomorrow, but my mom called me this morning that she had to take my dad to ER last night because he passed out, had a fever/was vomiting/diarrheaing.

So we went to see him when I got here, his fever's gone which is good. He has some sort of infection so they've got him on antibiotics but they can't choose something targeted until they know where the infection is stemming from. :(

Oh no. I hope he starts feeling better soon. What a horrible way to start a weekend.

My family's not religious so just the usual stuff for me...sleeping, cleaning, reading, maybe some writing, possibly watching some shows/listening to podcasts, and doing stuff online (slightly OT but I feel like there needs to be a word for "looking at/reading/posting on various websites").

We are not religious either, we just like an excuse to indulge in some good food.

Sometimes I like to go to the art museum on Easter Sunday because it's open, but I just went last weekend so this weekend will probably just be errands, chores, gym, and sleep.

Aww, how old's the nephew? Hope you Easter dinner is delish.

Our store's closed for Easter so I have the weekend off the binge on Kingdom Hearts and try and sort the garden out, weather-permitting.

He is five and big ol' butt. Thanks. :)

I just cleaned out my yard of most of the leaves. I hope the weather cooperates and you can get your garden sorted out.

Weeding/weed eating the park strip and front yard, if I can get the weed eater to work. Water my plants, dose my most recent sick chicken (please let her actually take her antibiotics and get better), start some seeds, go for a walk. Hunt for a new tv online since my old one’s borked—gonna have to keep dreaming, though; I just got paid and immediately spent $163 at the vet. Maybe next paycheck.

And then I work Sunday. I’m super sore from the last couple of days (shots, blood draw, pap smear, carried chicken in cat carrier a mile to the vet and back, lugged a 25 lb sack of chicken feed home on the bus and trolley and on foot...) so I hope work is quiet because it’s Easter—everyone thinks the library’s closed, but we’re not.
