kinda gross pet stuff

Took my eggbound hen to the vet. She has a big swollen sore by her vent that I didn’t notice :-( so I have antibiotics for her, but she laid the stuck egg! So now I just have to not cut myself on the pill cutter (like I just did) and get her to swallow the pill bits, and hope they help. It’s like a huge abscess but the vet couldn’t draw any liquid out.
