IMO you are seriously missing out by not watching Justified. It's fantastic and Olyphant and Walton Goggins are phenomenal.

Yes, and I was so happy for Margo Martindale when she won the Emmy. It was so well deserved. The show and its writing and actors are sorely under appreciated.

And in interviews he comes across as kind of funny and kind of weird. Like, sometimes I end up wondering if he's high. He's just got this stoner philosopher vibe, I guess.

I've watched a bunch of interviews of the guy and he seems like a really kooky, nice guy. Little shy. Very smart, very funny. I haven't seen Santa Clarita yet but I've heard it's terrific.

Not sure where you got the asshole impression, maybe because Olyphant played a villain or two? But he was in a pretty funny gay romantic comedy called The Broken Hearts Club about a group of gay friends looking for love (a little dated but fun): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0222850/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_46. And, man, Justified is so goddamn good. The writing? Incredible. The characterizations of Raylan, Boyd, Ava? Amazing. But the dialog, man. The storytelling. The ensemble cast, because all the marshals and Harlan denizens were amazing. I encourage you to give it a shot. Watch the first three episodes. You'll be hooked, I swear.

Lol, I think you probably think he's an asshole IRL because he's so good at aying assholes. On top of the roles already mentioned in the comments he was also the main villain in Die Hard 4. He is great in that, would recommend. For the 3rd sequel in a dying 80s franchise DH4 was actually very entertaining, and a big part if that was good casting, especially Olyphant.
