Did my nails, read a bit, watched the end of Dr. Strange and lol'd at the cape scene. Im currently waiting for the Bucks/Pistons game to start. I have leftover falafel and rice for dinner. Working tomorrow.

It's always fun to watch Giannis and Blake work but I'd say Bucks / Pistons has easily been the most grim least watchable first round match up...

Bucks have a real shot to go all the way though

Yeah, my hope is a Bucks/Warriors final, they're both my favorite teams.

Cleaned the kitchen, worked on my fic, got frustrated by my crappy writing, read a book, made dinner, and now I’m trying to finish the chapter I was working on.

Right now I am frustrated by my inability to create conflict in my stories. I am great at the build up/exposition/etc, but then... it... stalls... because I don't know what bomb to throw to move shit along. :/

Aw, I’m sorry you’re having the problem, anon. I kinda have the opposite problem of yours because I’m okay at the conflict bit, but it’s the build up that gives me trouble. I get around it by writing the fun, angst-filled scenes first, but I’ve written all those out and now I have to actually get the characters to that conflict. Those bits tend to bore me and before I know it, an hour’s passed and I’ve only written five sentences.

Aw. I mean, it's a cop/art thief type story so I could try killing someone, lol.

Went to the doctor about my bartholin gland cyst. Doctor gave me antibiotics and suggested I get my bartholin gland removed because I get a cyst like every other month. But I don't think I can afford that.

Nnngh those things are a bloody menace, I'm sorry. :( Mine gave me horrendous pain and hospital visits for the best part of a year. Could marsupialization be an option at all or would that be expensive too?

I did an admirable job of not screaming into my chair pillow when my boss started opining about what an important, difficult movie Unplanned is. I like the man most of the time, but it’s really hard not to do something and lose my job when he waves his GOP flag around.

Working at the office and I've mostly just been a combination of bored and weirdly inexplicably, distractedly horny all day tbh

Spanish class, Mexican culture class. Just woke up from nap. Probably going back to bed soon. Oaxaca is at 1555 meters, and my lungs are still getting used to the elevation.

How are you liking it? Are you near the city center or what?

Enjoying it so far. The thing I came here for is really interesting. And the city itself is beautiful. Both my hotel and the school my thing is being held at are in the historical district part of the city.

I've had to take it a bit easy today because my body isn't used to the elevation yet. I hope to do some more exploring tomorrow.

helped take my granddad who cannot move far without a wheelchair, so what is what we used to the seaside! Which also happens to be near a castle. He had fun. He got cold at one point and needed a second jumper so wore my HP one. YER A WIZARD ALFIE!

Lovely day. He was happy but more than that I think my gran appreciated getting out of the house and going somewhere too.

Went to my doctor and got a prescription for antidepressants! Hopefully they work :)

Washed more laundry and spent more money that I should've saved. I also received a friend's 3 comic zines in the mail today so now I'm saving them to read on my commute to my doctor's visit.

Started groundwork for a raised bed in the deadish part of the yard. Found out the reason there were so many scattered rocks/that that part of the yard is deadish is the prior owners gravel to level the area.

Argh, I hate that! I have a part of my yard that used to be a gravel driveway; I managed to dig down through the gravel layer and planted a shrubby tree that’s doing okay, but most everything else there is growing in pots.
