Did this happen or did I dream it?

I honestly can't recall for sure if this was a dream or if it was something I actually read while half awake. There was some hoopla around some minor celebrity or another being "unfriendly" because he ended his text messages with periods. And there was a transcript of his conversation with someone to show how it made a difference. Has anyone else heard of anything like this happening in the last few days?

NAYRT same, and I know, right? I always feel like I need to add 'lol' or emojis so people don't think I'm being cold/angry when I text with proper punctuation.
