Could I get a spark notes of the plot?

a bit difficult because some of the plot depends on your decisions in the game

basically humans have developed androids so cheaply and so perfectly that they can replace humans in literally everything, up to including writing bestselling novels. that has made a lot of people mad at androids, because they're out of jobs. at the same time everyone thinks they're just machines, so they get abused a lot. when the story starts a lot of androids have started to snap and kill their owners or flee. part of the game is investigating why these "deviants" malfunction, part is leading a resistance of androids, part is running away with a little girl from an abusive household and trying to find help. that's 3 different characters.

as i said, interesting idea, ruined by weirdass execution.

also there are android concentration camps in the end.

And this is the part that completely ruined the game for me, taking light of something horrible that happened in history. Of course, that sort of stuff seemed to happen throughout the entire game.
