da

honestly the only way you really get steve h/c is pre-serum stuff, fandom has this really bizarre idea that when he gets his new body somehow this means all his internal issues go away? when he would have a metric fuck-ton of crap to deal with, yanno like loosing his entire life and having to start over? not to mention all the shit TWS throws at him.

i'm more of a steve/bucky gal but as someone who likes steve more than bucky it's always real slim-pickings for ship-fic that's actually about steve on any meaningful level. and i get it, bucky's had it really fucking bad but, steve's got problems too? and sometimes i want to read that, but it's so goddamn hard to find.

You also get it in Steve/Thor fics. Because Thor is bigger, so people are okay with writing him in the comforting, taking care of role. Which, then, for me who craves submissive Thor fics, means I'm missing out a bit. Though I still love what I can get of Steve/Thor in any flavor.

Could...could you please rec me some Steve/Thor? I'd love to delve into that but have no idea what's good.

OMG, would love submissive Thor, too. Or at least...vulnerable Thor.

AYRT Yeah, that’s what’s frustrating, as someone who is primarily a Steve fan as well. I have nothing against Bucky or Stucky myself - I’ve read some Stucky fic, but I’m more likely to be interested if it’s Bucky taking care of Steve rather than the other way around, and for obvious and understandable reasons, that’s not often the case (other than, as you said, in pre-serum fic).
