I disagree with the idea that there is any one set of characteristics that are "fundamentally human." We're all different. And I'd argue that's a pretty Western way of looking at it too. So many cultures and personalities in our world.

I think all the characters in the MCU are very human in their own way. I relate very much to Natasha's need to make up for her past. I also relate to Steve's way of dealing with his PTSD (or not dealing rather) much more than I relate to Tony's way. And I relate to Thor's emotions.
