Or maybe people will be able to actually criticise the things that were bad about it (because a failed attempt in storytelling changes simply isn't a good attempt) without the people who loved it getting a kneejerk reaction of the "OMG YOU MUST BE A NECKBEARD DUDEBRO HATER" or "You just didn't GET it!" varieties.

Maybe! I didn't think it was perfect (Honestly, 2/3 of the stories were either wastes of time or did character disservices), and not everyone with criticisms is the typical anti-sjw crowd.

Or maybe people will come to realize that "things that were bad about it" are subjective and everyone will finally agree to disagree.
