Also aren't trans are the same gender they want to be? Like they take hormones, some do surgery. So trans charavters are just cgaracters who were another gender in the past, and the point of such headcanon whould be fics about transitioning, and I just don't see many of them around at all.

Actually, the point of trans headcanons is usually that the author likes the idea of girls with penises/guys with vaginas (and of course everyone assumes that trans people have the genitalia they were born with),so they use the character being trans as a way to get that in porn fics. :/

I think that tends to be true, specifically, of a lot of smutty trans *fic*. I really don't think it's necessarily true of trans *headcanons*.

The majority of trans headcanons I've seen are usually about the desire of trans fans to see themselves in their fictional faves. Nothing wrong with that, IMO.
