I don't watch this show, but that doesn't surprise me.

It's a shame that food with its own merits and cultural value have to be compared to one specific type of cuisine, as if it is the end all be all. French cooking is good, but have you tried filling your mouth with other flavors? ugh.

IA. I love French cuisine. But there are so many amazing Asian cuisines that influence the modern culinary landscape and yet they're not considered "classic" in the same sense.
