I got to start taking 325mg of ferrous sulfate iron 3 times a day for my anemia. :(

Also, having that weird panic attack thing I get sometimes.

I've just been prescribed a bunch of meds to fuck with my hormones, which is going to be FUN :c
Also - get this. So I've got PCOS, and one of the problems from that is difficulty controlling my weight. The doctor I went to the other day said one of the things I can do to control my symptoms is lose weight! :D
Ugh. But maybe the meds will make that easier? No way of knowing yet.

My tinnitus went really weird for a few days and I could hear my blood flow constantly in one ear. That was annoying.

Still on disability leave from work but after next week I believe I will be back to work. It's been nice staying home but alas...
Also, finished taking antibiotics but I'm scared I'll get sick again because everyone in the house keeps coughing.

Are you overly friendly, do you like to tell the same story twenty times, or do you just start crying whenever someone mentions puppies? Does this depend on what you are drinking (wine, booze)?

I don't drink because I just get tired and easily annoyed. Red wine also makes my face blotchy.

How do you feel about incest in fiction?

So I got to talking to a coworker about books and she mentioned she's reading a book with a brother/sister thing and she's not sure she can finish it because it's so disturbing and that writing about incest is actually illegal so she's not sure how it even got published and she's thinking of "filing a complaint" (who with I have no idea). I looked up the book, and it's in the fucking synopsis that there's a (romantic) relationship between siblings (and that seems to be basically the entire plot, or at least the majority of it) so I'm not sure why she even decided to read it.

Anyway, I just...don't really care? I'm sure this is a skewed demographic because I think fandom is probably more "anything goes" than people in general, but is anyone here that disturbed by incest in books that they want to write angry letters about it instead of just...not reading it?

IDK, I'm just kind of confused by her reaction and not sure if she's the weird one here or if it's me for not really caring.
