You think OP's objection is "Don't ask actors about shipping because they've never heard of it and they're delicate hothouse flowers who cannot know of the 21st century!" and not "Don't ask actors about shipping because it puts them in an awkward position that risks alienating portions of the fandom regardless of their answer and anyway to them it's probably a job and not the romance of the century so don't make it weird"?
