the fact that scott is hispanic makes him not-white, him being white-passing doesn't magically negate that. so no, that's not a white character being hated, that's a hispanic character being hated.

Scott isn't hispanic. The actor is like...1/16 hispanic.

I think Scott's supposed to be just as Latino as his actor. So, like half from Melissa McCall (nee Delgado), Scott's mother (or half from Cyndi Garcia-Posey, Tyler Posey's mother).

Except "Hispanic" is not actually a race. Hence why there are white Hispanics, black Hispanics, etc. If someone is white Hispanic, then they're still white (and also Hispanic) but you can't say they're "not white".
