I am pretty much done with watching the movies unless a certain character comes back. It is actually a wonderful feeling of knowing I don't have to keep up with all these movies. Now I need a new thing to drag my siblings to!

I'm a long-time comic-reader here so the swapping of mantles isn't something that bothers me at all, but if you're not used to it I 100% get why you might find it off-putting or not like it, because it does ultimately close the door on a chapter(more so in the movies than the comics where characters don't age).

But I'm also just really :DDDDDD over Sam getting the shield, it's what he deserves.

Really? He is such a bland character. He is just like a less effective Iron Man.

If you find him bland then I'm not going to be able to convince you otherwise, but I personally love him and think he's been great fun to watch over the movies. I loved his introduction in Cap 2 and he's been a solid presence by Steve's side since then, fighting with him and having his back, him taking up the shield is the best choice(outside of maybe Natasha but I doubt they would have gone there even if she wasn't dead).

Yes to all of this. Sam as Cap is awesome and kicks ass and it's totally what he deserves. He'll be an excellent Cap.

I don’t mind it... in DC. Marvel on the other hand tends to be realllllly shit at it in the comics at least. That said while I like the idea of Steve passing the mantle on to Sam I’m a bit iffy on it because BuckyCap was really good while it happened and SamCap was a hot mess but everything involving Bucky has become a hot mess in the MCU maybe it’s best they skip over him and go straight to Sam who they seem to be doing right by.

That said, I’m probably like you OP and gonna quit most of the MCU forreal with how dirty they did a bunch of characters.

I'm pretty pissed with how Infinity War treated Loki. Somewhat redeemed in Endgame but it still very much sucks.
I'm pretty pissed with how both IW and EndGame treated Bucky, in particular his friendship with Steve. Why didn't Endgame show their reunion after he returns? Wasn't the whole point of Steve's arc in Winter Soldier and Civil War about Bucky and their great friendship?
I'm pissed about how Natasha was the one to die. Don't get me wrong, Hawkeye was badass, but it made more sense for him to be the one to sacrifice himself, to atone for all he had done. But then, he had a family and Natasha didn't so I guess he's 'worth' more.
I'm also pissed that there was barely a mention of Natasha after she died but everyone showed up to show respect for Tony.

I'll always be open to new movies if they look good or have characters I really like, but as someone who likes the MCU but was never into it for the sake of being into it and who picked and chose which movies I saw, I will probably start sitting even more of them out. I have no interest in whatever tv stuff they do now.
