I accept he wasn't a main character and would probably not be in the entire film but it's just the throwaway nature and cruelty of it that bothers me, it's the most graphic death in the MCU. I also don't accept he would attempt to kill someone more than twice his height with a tiny knife. It's like the writers didn't want him any further in the story (to fulfil Thor's arc) and had to turn him into a dumbass to do it.

And now I'm mad about Nat as well! Genuinely did not even have an inkling of that so I couldn't even get emotional. I was just thinking... what the fuck?

At least with Loki getting a mini series there's a chance the people working on it will actually bother to think about how to handle his popularity.
