168 People often ask me if I'm turned on by my own sex scenes, or by writing them, and the answer is no, because by the time they're written down I've been thinking about them for a while. When they're still in my head, you know, in that amorphous state before they're really ready to be written, when they're just a cloud in your head? Then, sometimes. But honestly, not very often. The sex scenes I write, I try to make about what the characters find hot, or what's best for the story, not things that turn me on personally.
179 I see what you're saying, but then the note he leaves Watson at Reichenbach Falls sends me right back to the shipping. And I think Watson very specifically says that he never feels that way about any woman.
