Reminder that with the Walt Disney Company's purchase of Fox, they control 39% of the U.S. box office in 2019. That's more than the next top 3 studios COMBINED: Universal (15.5%), Warner Bros. (14.7%), and Sony/Columbia (5.9%).

Other studios need to make better movies!

Good thing is that who makes what movies doesn't affect nearly anyone at all. I am more concerned about things like Duke Energy, Vertex Pharm, and Anthem.

Oh shit, sorry. Their theme parks and TV shows also don't affect me.

you are so adorable

i like how in your world, companies never invest or partner up or completely change their purpose or do corrupt things with their money on any scale

but even if they do, you have in your head that none of it affects you

you adorable little you

Who controls the media sure does. I take it you're a fan of Fox News?

Can Disney dismantle Fox News? I thought the news network was separate from 21 Century Fox

You're right; Since Disney already owns ABC and it's news subsidiaries, they didnt buy Fox News or Sports bc they also own ESPN.

Rad. Who do you think Disney will buy first out of those three? My bet's on Warner Bros., and we finally get to see Bugs and Mickey on speaking terms for the first time since Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Sony Pictures tbh. Sony still has electronics and surprisingly, insurance to fall back on. Their film division is a very small part of their company.

I'd rather Disney have Fox than Comcast. So....

Hideous selfish thought:
...if Disney eventually became a monopoly by buying out everyone else, would that mean that Muppet Babies could be reissued? I know that Muppet Babies videos can't be sold because of massive intellectual property issues concerning the film clips used in its making.
