Are they going to recast Batwoman, or are they keeping the actress they have now? Because she has the acting ability of a wooden post.

I don't understand how the CW has three shows at upfront ls when they didn't cancel anything

I mean, clearly they know what they're doing, but it doesn't make sense to me

Jane the Virgin is ending, Arrow is having a final season next year of only 10 episodes, and Supernatural's last season will also be a little shorter (20 instead of 23). The CW also tends to program in chunks, so they might have one of their anchor shows on for 10 episodes in the fall, then put something else in the timeslot for winter (they sometimes do only 13 episode for first seasons), and then bring back the anchor show for the rest of it's episodes in spring or they sometimes have shows that go 16-17 episodes and run one fall/winter and then another in that time slot winter/spring. They do have limited space as they tend to keep most of their shows and program for only two hours on Sunday through Friday evening (compared to the three hours on Monday through Saturdays and four hours on Sunday nights programmed by networks ABC, CBS, and NBC), but they fill up those hours.
