Maybe taking your own advice and getting annoyed at the person making the comics by posting to him directly, instead of getting annoyed at someone innocently enjoying his comics by adding your hate for the artist to their post?

The person sharing the comic likely doesn't know any of the alleged stuff about this guy, and now they're going to get attacked anyway by the internet mob because that accusation is stuck to their post forever. The guy who made the comics will not see any of this. Criticism must go to the source directly to be effective. What the second comment did is, sorry, an actual case of virtue signaling.
