Nada. Also I had a nightmare the other night that I had forgotten to go to school for months. WTF brain, you haven't been in school for like 15 years.

Hanging with my friends and talking about all the stuff we loved and had in common....wait. That's my internet life.

Um....what i miss about (high) school is - i got to go home every night and be with my family, and I miss that a lot.

From university—access to expensive equipment and supplies I can’t afford. From K-12? Nothing.

Oh, and free access to museums and the like as long as you are a student.
Also, student discounts, period.

Having that much time with my friends, not just at school but after school and every weekend. I miss a couple of my teachers too.

I used to think I had a nostalgia problem, but what I really miss were moments of respite. If I'd been lucky to have anything greater than that, I think I'd really yearn for high school.

So many bad memories it's hard to tell. That is to say if I have a school related dream it would 100% be a nightmare. There were some good parts but my mind is stuck on the bad ones.

Hanging out with my friends during lunch. Now if I want to hang out with them, we have to coordinate together and we're lucky if we see each other once a month. I kinda miss the free time too, but I didn't have a job or a car, so I couldn't do anything with my free time except read and write fic.

Fucking nothing but I skipped class half the time and the other half fell asleep at my desk so yeah.

Learning for fun in a structured environment. I don't miss exams, but I do miss classes. I still have to do a lot of learning as a lawyer, but I just like taking classes. Honestly, if I had the money, I'd do all the CLE courses.

I miss the potential of being young and having everything in front of me. I miss the way that at least half of me genuinely believed I would do and have all the stuff we get told we will do and have in life. I miss believing that growing up meant I would eventually grow out of the things I don't like about myself.

I'm not a miserable person for the most part. But there's a lot of stuff I struggle with, and when I reached the age where I realized it mostly wouldn't change and I'd just have to keep living with it, that was hard.
