Re: Secrets you're too lazy to make
(Anonymous) 2019-05-09 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)With that in mind, it makes sense to me that she'd want to poison Dany in every possible way before she falls. Kill her children. Kill her friends. Show her madness to the world. Show the North that Lannisters are not the only ones who can drown the world in wildfire. Go all out, invite the dragon queen to do the same, and show the world how little difference there is before one of them falls. Cersei's trying to poison her enemies as she falls. She's going all in, hoping to win if she can, but if she can't she's going to make them bleed before she goes. Make them hate each other. Cersei's always gone straight for claws with those she hates, and only more so since her children started dying. It looks to me at this point like she just wants to hurt them as much as possible before she's done.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-09 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)I also don't think Cersei's being stupid. She's proved that her army can kill dragons and Dany's down to only one. Why shouldn't Cersei goad Dany into attempting to destroy King's Landing?
