The Loki/Thor relationship is my fave in all of the MCU. They could have done a lot more to explore it in these films but just... didn't. Instead, they killed Loki off early and made Thor all depressed and OOC. It was odd, to say the least and incredibly disappointing. Even without Loki, Thor had not much to do.
I agree the character development of all the characters was all over the place in this film. The film was great fun but a bit of a mess, for any long term Marvel fans, who look at it too closely.
