Not everyone sees her as Steve's deserved trophy and nothing more. And not everyone who likes her ships her with Steve.

Great for arguments against Steve getting with Sharon because PEGGY IS THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE AND HER AUNT (fair enough). Great when she's old and "happily married with kids" (where were these people when her niece delivered the eulogy).

Not everyone who likes Peggy ships her with Steve or uses her as a shield for Steve/Bucky or whatever excuse you have. Lots of people are upset in the metasenss of reducing another woman to a prize to be won at the end which is frankly what it feels like what was done to Peggy. She had a life and moved the fuck on and Steve frankly has too but we gotta please those dudebro audiences about the man getting the hot girl at the end.

....you do realize it can be weird to make out with a former love interest's niece regardless of "love of his life" status, right? And that her niece, being a named character we already know, who idolized her, is a perfectly fine choice for a eulogy?

Why are you so adamant that no one actually likes Peggy Carter? Where have you been?

Probably because they think it's unpossible that anyone could genuinely like or love Peggy and not ship her the way they want her shipped.

Hell, I ship Steve/Sharon, and thought the way that relationship was handled in CW was awkward and weird.
