Particularly funny given that Emilia Clarke was younger during first season (and all her nudity) than Maisie is during this season.

Well, Emilia's character was. Emilia herself was and always looked like an adult woman, whereas Maisie looked very young when she started out and still can pass for a teenager today. You can tell people a character is a certain age but their feelings are still influenced mostly by what they see.

I mean, Emilia was just 18 when she was cast and she looks it. But I think if people hadn't seen Maisie as a child they wouldn't still see her as 'too young' looking.

It happens with so many child entertainers, I distinctly remember all the pearl clutching every time a Disney kid starts being and acting like an adult entertainer.
