When people complain about not having friends but refuse to actually interact and engage with anyone. Every relationship is a two-way street and introversion should never be used as an excuse to be lazy. Nobody is 'owed' another person's time and simply existing without offering anything else in return simply isn't a good offer.

THIS. I have dropped so many people because they claimed they wanted to be friends but then wouldn't put fuck all into the friendship. When I find myself always being the one to reach out to the other person, that's a pretty good sign that it just isn't worth it. You can't just take and take and never give back.

+1

I also hate it when people are constantly whining about how they have no friends and no one pays attention to them, then when someone is dumb enough to reach out to them and try to befriend them, they consciously chase them off within a week and go back to whining.

I had this with a friend who was complaining that she didn't have a boyfriend. But she didn't want to go out to meet people, she didn't want to go to bars/clubs, she didn't want to use the internet or dating apps so... I think she just expected a man to show up at her door with flowers and an engagement ring.
