God, I agree so much. I will admit that I jaywalk a lot. I think most non-drivers jaywalk a fair bit. But I always make sure to only jaywalk in situations where I have plenty of time to make it across without any vehicles having to even slow down for me. So it's really not helpful when a driver decides to be nice and stop to let me jaywalk, because now I'm inconveniencing people, and there's no guarantee that the vehicle going the other direction is also going to break for me.

Another traffic pet peeve: I hate when people decide not to break until they're right up near the crosswalk. It's like they think it's going to save them time somehow, when in reality, there's no way I'm going to walk out in front of them until they've slowed right down, so it ends up taking longer for me to cross in front of them when they do that.
