A Pike-era-on-the-Enterprise show? (Forgive me, I haven't seen Discovery.)

I am similarly confused. Someone clarify?

Pike appears in S2 and briefly takes command of Discovery. That's his Number One and Spock (who is also prominent in S2), and they S2 ends with everyone back where they belong. But the show is called Discovery, not Enterprise, so spoilers aside, there's no way the show will be dedicated to this trio. OP wants a whole show with them.

I don't know what to say, OP. I don't think it's going to happen, unless there's a spinoff. A little too mayo for me, anyway.

And in a brilliant move, Discovery has hopped to the way future to put paid to fanboys' whining about canon.

I wouldn't ever want them back on Discovery, but I would love a spin-off show or a made for TV-movie.

Haven't seen this yet, but Number One is probably my favorite part of The Cage!

Meh, as much as I appreciated Pike after the unrelenting grimdark that was Lorca, I think Pike and Spock's prequel story have pretty much run their course, and I'd rather move on to Captain Saru.
