How the hell do people use phones for internet

I'm trying to participate from work since I've missed so many posts due to my hours. And FS is not exactly work safe. But I tried commenting and even with auto fill it took forever and with lot of typos. How do people do all their posts on their phones? Do you get used to it? Is this. A sign of being internet old? Help.

Do you have Swype? It is what I use and eventually it gets very adept at anticipating your lazy typing.

I don't know either. I hate doing comm stuff on my phone, and avoid it at all costs. It takes forever and just feels really awkward and wrong to me.

Sometimes I post from my phone, but it takes approximately 20x longer to type out anything, even though my phone is really good at the predictive text stuff. If I try to post anything longer than about three sentences I have to devote a good 15 minutes to typing it out.

I do okay posting from my phone, but yeah, I definitely end up with more typos than I would using a keyboard. And I turned off autocorrect and predictive text ages ago; all they did was annoy me.

Man, right there with you. I use my phone for texts, phone calls, and pictures. The couple of times i've had to 'internet' on it were stupid and frustrating.

And it's all SO SMALL.

No idea. Not to say I haven't done it ever, but only a handful of times and only for short comments, and it's annoying.

I don't know how people do a lot of what they do on their phones, honestly. I know people who do pretty much all of their interneting on their phone/ipad/tablet/whatever and I just don't get it...I have to have an actual computer (and a desktop; even laptops annoy me because I need a mouse).

I don't know.

Try getting a library book that describes the make and model of your phone in excruciating detail. Read the heck out of it. Decide if your phone is working for you. If not, sincerely consider ditching it for a better model. Please note I said better, not more expensive or newer.

If ditching your phone is not an option, slow down your input. Kill corrective typing if it kills your spelling. Learn to type when you're not distracted.

Remember, your phone is supposed to serve you, not the other way round.

It depends on whether the site has a good app for it or not. I have no issues doing Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc from my phone. But f!s and other sites that I have to use through Safari or Chrome? Fuck that, that's when I get on my computer for those.
