Work sucked. Mostly because we have this client who won't give us any information, and yet my boss still wanted me to write an asylum brief based off of no information. Also I'm hormonal and got 2 hours of sleep last night, which did not help things. Also, I'm cramping. Which I thought I wasn't going to do anymore. So that really sucks. And I'm in a bad mood.

Walked on the treadmill at 3mph for 10 minutes without a break for the first time in MONTHS. The iron pills are working!

Sick calls. Sick calls everywhere.

People need to stop being sucks. Unless you're dead. Go to work.

I wish people would always take time off so they didn't spread their germs and make everyone else sick....

people coming to work when they're sick is why you suddenly have 10 people sick in the same office.

No. If you're sick you need to stay home. Going to work or school sick SPREADS WHATEVER IT IS YOU HAVE AND MAKES OTHER PEOPLE SICK.

And if I believed half of them were actually sick, I might agree, but we have a great deal of Sarah Bernhardts at my work.

One person calling off sick is a lot better than them coming to work and EVERYBODY getting it.

Got a lovely root canal.

:( I'm sorry. I hope you feel alright and you have good tooth health in the future.

Thank you.

Actually, the procedure itself was relatively painless, except for a split second something felt weird. The dentists and staff were really nice and accommodating, which was a change from all the shit people I had to see growing up. My jaw feels a bit raw now, but fortunately I have painkillers for the wicked ear infection and jaw pain I saw a doctor for last week. I just hope I don't stupidly mess up this filler before I go in for my crown.

Trying to watch A Discovery of Witches. I like Matthew Goode in everything I've ever seen him in, but Teresa Palmer is so blah that even scenes he's in aren't great. Maybe it's the writing too. She's supposed to be super smart but her actions keep telling me she's actually very dim. I really wanted to like this show. :(

Because I liked everyone else, I was okay at being able to ignore her dumbness. Plus, Alex Kingston, my goddess.

Amused myself on a rainy day with historical erotica as I suffer through wisdom teeth pain.

Oof. Hope you don't have to suffer much longer with that.

Got a late start because of a thunderstorm. Fortunately, the job didn't turn out to be as big as I feared and got done early, but still got rained on again, anyway. I got myself a little frozen custard with my late lunch, though, so it was fine.

Went to work. Trying to finish everything I need to because I'll be on vacation for a little over three weeks. But it's not like they can't run this place without be so it will be OK.

(I'm going to Italy and Germany and I'm going to see Die Ärzte twice and meet my online friend so I'm very excited.)

Took dog to the emergency vet because he's been throwing up for over 24 hours. Got some pills, hope it's just a bellyache.

I'm recovering from a brief illness so I slept and relaxed all day and let the antibiotics do their work.
