That's just Martin Freeman, lol. If you look across all his roles, it's all the same shit. He's got a really, really narrow range of acting.

I'm no fan of Martin Freeman as a person, but that's just blatantly untrue. Everett Ross (MCU), Phil Rask (StartUp), Lester Nyygard (Fargo), and John Watson (Sherlock) are all wildly different characters, to say nothing of the others he's played over the years.

Hell, my friend didn't even realize the guy playing Ross was the same guy he'd seen in Fargo and Sherlock, despite the fact that he'd seen several hours of him as each character.

If you've only ever seen him in, like, The Hobbit and Sherlock, then sure those characters are similar. But if you think Phil Rask is remotely similar to Arthur Dent, I don't even know what to say to that except what movies did you watch?

nayrt - With respect, I've seen him in Fargo and while he did a good job, he absolutely had some of the same acting tics that he had in other roles, just in an upper Midwest accent.
