I can read a few posts while I'm on the bus or in break at work or whatever, that's a lot different from sitting down and watching a twenty minute video. Also, I prefer to read things than watch them in general. Also, if you're incapable of summarizing the thesis of the video yourself, how much critical thinking are you doing yourself?
