So my current (but not new, I’ve just been into it for awhile) fandom otp involves two fairly standard humans. One has magical powers, but is still pretty much human shaped. Somehow, there is more than one person out there who wrote basically Jurassic Park crossover porn, with the magical character as a velociraptor (well, Jurassic Park velociraptor, so maybe about utahraptor size) and the other as their keeper/trainer, no magic involved, just JP style pseudoscience.
