The older American Girl and Dear America still held up for me, as does the first Twilight book (the rest of them still piss me off though). I also still like basically all the Meg Cabot books I read, especially the Mediator series.

A bunch of Sarah Dessen books did not hold up for me, which kinda sucked because she was one of my favorite authors when I was younger. I also read Thirteen Reasons Why when it first came out and remember thinking it wasn't that bad. I reread it when I heard about the Netflix adaptation and wondered what the hell younger me liked about it.

I love the whole Mediator series! I keep thinking about getting the new one, but the original series ended on such a good note for me that I am hesitant.

I was hesitant to read the new one too, but I was pretty pleased with it. It was fun to see where all of Suze's brothers ended up and how she and Jesse were doing.
