You don't have to feel bad for them, if you insist. But how you dole out punishment is a reflection of you and the kind of person you are, completely independent of the crimes of the condemned. She committed heinous acts in the name of "justice" and getting people to follow her, that reflects 100% on her.

These people saw other people as things to sell. Maybe to you they deserved to just be hung or something? But like. I feel nothing about fictional slavers being burnt alive by someone who was enslaved and sold. It tells me she wanted them to suffer for their crimes, not get a clear, easy death, because maybe seeing other slavers burned alive would cause others to think twice.

TBH it speaks volumes to me that you're worried about fictional slavers, who didn't care about the rampant rape, abuse and death of those they deemed cargo.

It speaks volumes to me that you see crucifixion and death by torture as morally permissible. The circumstances if the condemned literally do not matter because it is *never* morally permissible. Full stop.

You're derailing by trying to say "by not supporting death by crucifixion, you support the actions of slavers." That kind of disturbing rationale is exactly why you're suddenly shocked by what happened to her in the finale.

You are acting like Daenerys was doomed from the start, based on the amount of foreshadowing the writers put into the show. She wasn't. I realize they very well intended her to be, but they did a poor job of setting that up, by having her act only in retaliation to evil. THAT by itself is NOT being "prone to evil," certainly not more than any other character in the series who has killed someone for a crime. You're just trying to confuse the issue by arguing the morality of death methods and then pretending that isn't your stance at all.

DA but they really didn't do a poor job at all. She acted in retaliation to evil, yes, but she took it way too far, to the point where even the people closest to her were telling her that what she was doing was too extreme, and they agreed with the idea of punishiment. The cruxifixion and torture were completely unnecessary. She could have accomplished what she wanted to do (punishing them and deterring other slavers) without resorting to torture, and the fact that she DIDN'T speaks volumes about her true nature.

There's killing people and then there's brutalizing them. She did the latter.
