I totally thought "but... isn't the movie based off the manga, as is the anime?" (And for that matter, isn't the anime a tad bit closer to the actual mnaga story, though, yeah, there are some changes, but at least it goes on to the actual end)

So, shouldn't it be "I read the manga first"???

But yes, I guess the point is that reading/watching something first doesn't make anybody a better fan (someone has to come up with a definition of "better fan" one of these days, that could be funny). I get to see plenty of shows and movies even after it's been on TV in the States, and I don't quite care...

LOL... Well, I guess that makes it a double-secret: because Live Action always > Anime or manga, no matter the quality or the source material, and seeing something first obviously makes you a better fan...

Mind you, that's why I love F!S. Sometimes, it makes me think I'm sane for a little while...

And yes... been fantastically hectic and RL not being too kind at the moment. I was already not too active on lj, but that's not helping! But good to speak to you! ♥
