This is me.

I also don't appreciate how it craps on the first two and as a result it encourages a lot of fans to do the same. Some of us liked Thor and his original supporting cast.

I really liked the Shakespearean Tone of the first two movies.

Agreed.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I thought the first two Thor movies (especially the very first one) were much better movies than Ragnarok.

As an overall experience, which includes character development and story, I agree. Ragnarok is fun (and I don't think it's terrible like some fans of the other two) but taken as part of its trilogy doesn't really mesh.

I have another unpopular opinion to add to yours though...I think Kenneth Branagh "got" Thor, Loki and the Asgardian royal family dynamics in general more than Taika did and I wish he'd stuck around for more than just 'Thor'.
