87% certain most of those are Japanese IP-locked. Now, I'm of the opinion that using a VPN to watch what you shouldn't be able to access is still pirating, but there's certainly some middle ground there and it's not quite the same discussion.

(Personally, I "pirate" radio shows often, because it's that or no access at all. I don't think what I'm doing is right, but I'm just admitting that I do it, too. So.)

Dang, that sucks. I hope they make their stuff available to other countries.

I live in nowheresville and back in the day if you didn't have the right connections you'd get nothing, so I ain't judging here. Amusingly enough, thanks to pirating back in the day people realized there was a huge interest in anime and we got a lot of series on cable, which escalated to getting cons (I remember our first con being like less than 50 people, now it has blown up to the thousands thanks to word of mouth) and we actually get sold oficial merchandise along with DVDs, Blurays, figurines, etc.
