How is that a justification? I am confused about the reasoning here

The difference is the UK benefited from being in the EU, like the North benefited from Danny's help.

The Native Americans didn't benefit from the English settlers.

But the North needed Dany's help because of a specific existential threat, which was then defeated. I don't see how you can continue holding that over their heads as a justification after the fact. The UK specifically chose to enter into, and benefits from, a continuing association with the EU. Seems like a difference.

The North can't back out of a deal just because they got what they wanted out of it. Well, they can't. But it isn't the right thing to do, and we shouldn't pretend they were justified.

Deal made under duress, no? And you can hardly say it's justified for it to be demanded as a price.

Dany was already helping Jon before he pledged his loyalty, it wasn't under duress.

But the North didn't make the deal. Jon did. And Jon is revealed to be a Targ so he isn't even a Stark by Westerosi standards.
