Re: Theists and atheists, what's your general opinion of the other?

Do you not like when people talk about their life outside of work? I don't see how it'd be random if someone asked "how was your weekend?" and the other person replied something along the lines of "Pretty good! I volunteered at my church picnic and met up with family," or whatever.

Meh, avoiding potentially divisive topics is not the same as "not talking about life outside of work."

Imo religion is a divisive topic that should be avoided at work, just like politics. Atheism included, I'd think just as less of someone who casually brings up they went to Atheism Club. Or, idk, that they're Libertarian.

I'm sure they can find something else to talk about, and if they can't... well...

I don't know, I don't think identifying who you are and what you believe in should be considered provocative or anything like that.

da Flipping out over "What did you do on the weekend?" "I helped out with a church event." is pretty immature.
