Re: Theists and atheists, what's your general opinion of the other?

I was raised religious and went to religious schools as a kid. Honestly, I don't think I ever believed it, but I'm definitely an atheist now.

And I know most people probably consider this horrible, but yeah, I do think less of someone if I find out they're religious. Having grown up with it and seeing how much damage it can do, it really makes me question someone's judgment when I find out they believe that stuff.

Same. I think less of anyone who believes anything that has zero concrete evidence to support it. I don't understand why we're supposed to give religion a pass but we roll our eyes at people who believe in ghosts or conspiracy theories or UFOs because they're all exactly the same in that there is no proof any of those things are real.
