That's a really unpopular opinion. I think, of all the Avengers, Tony has had the most consistent characterization out of them all.

He started as an oblivious rich guy, albeit technical genius, who just wanted to party. Then he saw the damage his weapons were doing up close and personal and decided to change the direction of his company into energy. Ever since then he has had a guilty conscious and became obsessed with trying to stop bad things before they happen.

It's really surprising to hear you say he's not consistent when he's been suffering PTSD in every single Avengers movie after the first one, and especially in IM3. Arguably since IM1 since he was held prisoner.

Every goddamn character in the MCU has PTSD. We KNOW Tony has it. That doesn't give him a pass.

Every point you listed about Tony before and after his supposed development is why I hate him. Since he's such an egotistical/hypocritical twat about it. Just to comment on the actual secret.
