I honestly wish they just wouldn't acknowledge it because it's usually awkward as hell.

On 911 there's a decent amount of people who ship Buck and Eddie, and they had an episode where a guest character had an issue during a live stream/chat thing, and when the firefighters/EMTs showed up to help her, they were on the live stream and people in the chat were making comments like "those two are cute together" and "they'd make a great couple". I thought it was amusing and not too bad but most examples I can think of (like Supernatural years ago) are just super awkward and weird.
