Yes. I use it when some of the shows I'm watching go from people practically whispering to each other to loud, obnoxious noises and bass. It makes it easier to understand what is going on in the whispering.

Fandom. I'm not letting people IRL know what kind of things I've written.

That's the one with Garfield being some sort of Lovecraft inspired nightmare thing right? I keep seeing pictures from that and it's kind of great but very unsettling at the same time. That's how I feel about regular cats so it's fitting.

Are you talking about NatSteve, or Stucky? I'm not very familiar with the Marvel universe, but I don't recall either actually happening. (especially Stucky, since there would be a lot more talk about it if it had)

My new strategy is to do large ASOS orders online and return 95% of them.

Neither officially happened in the current universe, but I would guess with the multiverse, that both have happened elsewhere. I have zero proof, of course. I'm just going by probability.

The only thing here i disagree with is the 'ignores Bucky being tortured' thing, since they've 'said' it's a separate timeline and not 'our' (movie) timeline. But even if that's so, that means that Steve just moved in and swept Peggy up and that timeline's Steve was either left in the ice or basically told 'too bad, so sad, she's mine now'.

Both of which are...fucked.

I'm with you. It tastes how wet autumn leaves smell. Add milk? Now it's...milky. Add lemon? Now it's sour. Sugar = sweet leaves! It's just not good.

A lot more now than I did. My laptop speakers don't get very loud, and i usually have my window open, and it's hard to hear things. Especially when watching a (whisper quite conversation) SUPER LOUD ACTION SCENE!! type movie. So annoying!

Now I can turn it down a little and just use the subs, yay!

Could you find a different podcast? Or maybe send a message asking for some sort of special? I don't listen to podcasts so I'm not sure if it'll work.

Shipping and fanfic. I talk about that stuff a bit with my friends, or I wine to my dad that the awesome WIP I'm reading just wont update, or whatever. but I never go into detail about the fic, and I only go into detail about shipping if it's a pairing my friend also ships, and even then my friends only lowkey ship compared to me so I can't REALLY get into it with them.

I don't generally turn on the closed captioning or subtitles, but I will say they are absolutely essential in big and/or loud communal areas like airport lounges, student lounges, waiting rooms, bars, etc.

It's especially annoying when there are other podcasts out there that were being recorded as the canon was coming out. It's not THAT important for you to follow along that the rewatch podcasts must bend to the will of spoiler whiners, but for some reason they do even though probably most listeners don't care.

Oh yeah, those are Asian lady beetles and they're the worst. I've been told they even contribute to depopulating the harmless red ladybugs (don't know if it's actually true) and that makes them even worse.

Yeah. I love fandom, and I’m sure I would even if I was in peak mental, emotional, and physical shape, but it’s something I can still engage in even when my depression is kicking my ass, or I’m ill, or both, so it’s kind of my fallback hobby. When I can barely make it off the couch, I can still read and respond to fics and stuff. When I have spare energy, I can go work in my garden or go for a hike, and when I’m done and I’m too sore to move, I can read fic.

I don’t suddenly hate fandom or other fans, or think I’m better than them, because sometimes I do other stuff. I’m just always glad for the days when I can spare the energy to do other stuff. And I’m glad OP can, too.
