Personally I'm still so fucking mad that they missed the boat post-2012 and now we're getting a BW film several years later "well, it's what you wanted?" like we're supposed to be happy it took them this long.

And if it doesn't do well because it's really bad timing, they'll take it as a sign they should never have it in the first place.

I mean, the character's story has come to a close after years of squandered potential, so a lot of the momentum is gone. Plus, many people have soured on the actress in the meantime.

I agree! They had a chance years ago to make the film then before they screwed up her character completely and then killed her off. I don't see the point of this film, as it will always end the same if it's a prequel.
(The more I think of it, the more I get annoyed at Endgame in particular)
