A part of me definitely wants to agree with this, because I love horny-pining-masturbation smut for my ships. But ultimately, it would just feel way too OOC for any of the characters I ship to have a pillow made with the image of the other character on it. Even for my MCU ships, where it's believable that the characters are in-universe famous enough to have pillows of themselves already available for sale, I just can't really think of a way to make it feel remotely in character. (Just my opinion, YMMV.)

However, I would be very, very down for a fic in which Character A has a full body pillow, and Character B somehow ends up sleeping in Character A's bed and finds that their pillow smells like them and gets really turned on and humps the fuck out of the pillow because they can't help themselves. Unf, yeah I'd read that like woah.
